Wrestling is a non-stop sport, so finding the time to stay in shape and recover through various injuries can be tough. Recently, Seth Rollins and Cesaro joined the WHOOP podcast to discuss life on the road as WWE superstars, and what it takes to keep yourself healthy throughout the arduous schedule.
Speaking on what it takes to recover, Rollins and Cesaro both credited WHOOP with how they adjust to various workouts. “Thanks to WHOOP we have science behind that [adjusting workouts], it helps to have that data,” Cesaro says. “I notice I feel better when I warm up more before a workout,” Seth adds. “If my recovery is crap and the WHOOP is telling me that I need to take it easy, maybe a 20-minute WOD is not the ticket today.”
When it comes to dieting, Rollins noted that staying consistent is important, while Cesaro mentioned how bringing meals on the road and planning them out can help keep everyone consistently eating well.
