Former RAW Acting General Manager Baron Corbin took to Twitter last night after his Mania win against the retiring Kurt Angle. Fans overwhelmingly voiced support for his replacement in what was to be the Olympic Gold Medalist’s last match in WWE. Despite WrestleMania 35 otherwise being a show full of feel-good moments, Baron Corbin showed up and handily defeated the legend. In the tweet, he called the fans displeased with the result “cry babies” and then admitted he didn’t deserve the spot. Instead, he just took it.
To all the cry babies out there who complained and thought I should be replaced, hahahahaha eat that!
There are people who deserve things and people who just take them, I just take them! @WWE #Wrestlemania35

Kurt Angle has recently signed a new deal with WWE that will keep him in the company as an on-air talent. He also hopes to help the younger stars and even manage wrestlers like Chad Gable in the future.
