There are very few performers that have had as much of an impact on Ring of Honor Wrestling as Jay Lethal. The former TNA star has been instrumental in raising the profile of the promotion over the course of the last few years, particularly when it comes to his World Title reigns. Now, he’ll get the chance to feature in one of the main events of the evening at tonight’s G1 Supercard event – and he’s ready for the challenge, as stated in his recent interview with Tampa Bay Times.

On performing at Madison Square Garden:
“Every wrestler from my generation thought that the only way to work in Madison Square Garden was to work for the WWE or fill out an application to work security. I get to go there without doing either of those two things. I couldn’t write my story any better. We are wrestling a sold-out show at Madison Square Garden and I am champion. A few years ago, I would have said this is impossible. But it is a reality.”
