Fire Promoter DLC Released For Fire Pro Wrestling World

Today marked the release of the second DLC for Fire Pro Wrestling World. Fire Promoter is a game mode that allows players to run their own wrestling promotion. Book matches, sign contracts, cross-promote with other promotions, and everything else involved in running a wrestling promotion.

The game mode is fairly in-depth, yet more streamlined than modes like WWE Universe in the WWE 2K series. It’s a pretty straight forward manager mode, but still engrossing. It can be extremely tedious for those that don’t have fun making spreadsheets, but for those that do, watching your promotion’s crowd and assets grow is pretty enthralling. You can actually watch, booking by booking, as your stars’s drawing power increases or decreases.

The WWE 2K series could learn a lot from Fire Promoter. The mode lets players upgrade their facilities. Just imagine if WWE Universe mode let you set up, and manage the WWE Performance Center, that is the level of management Fire Promoter delivers. All booked matches are playable, in case you’re worried that its all money management. It’s a substantial update to an already fun game.

Fire Pro Wrestling World is available on Steam & Playstation 4.
