The New Ten Pounds Of Gold Chronicles The Legacy Of ‘The Crockett Territory’ (Video)

The NWA has released a new episode of their Ten Pounds Of Gold series leading up to April’s Crockett Cup tag team tournament being held in Concord, North Carolina. The video focuses primarily on the history of the Mid-Atlantic area and the Crockett family’s history with the NWA.

The video features Jim Cornette, the manager of the Midnight Express. Cornette, The Midnight, and The Rock n’ Roll Express will all be in Concord, for the tournament in April:

On April 27th, 2019, The National Wrestling Alliance partners with Ring of Honor Wrestling to present The Crockett Cup.

NWA Worlds Heavyweight Champion Nick Aldis joined the President of The NWA Billy Corgan to do media in Charlotte, NC on Fox 46. The tradition of the National Wrestling Alliance with Jim Crockett Promotions in the North Carolina and South Carolina area dates back to the 1940s.

The episode of NWA Ten Pounds of Gold celebrates this relationship with Jim Cornette telling the history of this great company, how it led to the Crockett Cup tournament and how the modern day NWA Is bringing back this historical event.
