They say that when a superstar walks into the Elimination Chamber, he doesn’t walk out the same. The story behind the Chamber is that Vince McMahon didn’t want to bring WarGames into the WWE, as it wasn’t his concept. Instead, they came up with the Elimination Chamber, which is an incredible structure in its own right. It’s all steel and chains and once you get in, there’s no getting out until you’re eliminated or you eliminate everyone else.
It’s resulted in some of the most brutal and entertaining matches that we’ve ever seen. Admittedly, it’s been toned down a bit due to padding added to the structure, but one can’t blame WWE for wanting to make it safer for their superstars. We’ve seen a lot of bloodshed, a lot of war and a lot of destruction inside the chamber.
