Ring of Honor announcer Ian Riccaboni has signed a new multi-year deal with the company, according to a report from PWTorch. Riccaboni started with ROH in 2014 and assumed the role as the lead announcer in 2017 following the departure of Kevin Kelly. He signed a small deal in April 2018 with an option to become a free agent within the next month. With growing interest from WWE and All Elite Wrestling, ROH was aggressive in keeping Riccaboni for the long term, as he expressed remaining with the company afterward.
Riccaboni has also confirmed he’s sticking with the company, as seen below:
.@ringofhonor means the world to me; the wrestlers, the crew, and the fans. We're a family.
I approached our office and producers about staying. They shared the same sentiment.
I am excited to announce that I signed a mult-year deal to stay with ROH. Happy wrestling, indeed!
