IMPACT: Homecoming kicked off with Rich Swann capturing the X-Division Championship in an Ultimate X match which also featured Ethan Page, Jake Crist, and Trey Miguel.
After Brian Cage cashed in the X-Division Title to earn a shot against IMPACT World Champion Johnny Impact, a number of qualifying matches were made to give way to new contenders for the X-Division. Swann would win after climbing the cables on the opposite side after escaping an hurricanrana spot from Miguel.
