The first SmackDown Live of 2019 gained the appearance of “Free Agent” 16-time World Champion, John Cena and “The Man” Becky Lynch in a moment for the ages.

Cena first entered to a large ovation from the Pittsburgh crowd, looking back at how epic and busy his 2018 has been. He addressed the end of his relationship with Nikki Bella, taking time off to make movies and his unusual hair growth. While he joked about someone going to make a wisecrack about Nikki leaving him, Becky Lynch came out to confront “The Franchise.” Lynch wasted no time in saying that, “Nikki wouldn’t be the only woman dropping you,” and continued to goad him into a challenge.

This brought out Andrade ‘Cien’ Almas and Zelina Vega, which led to a mixed tag match to commence. Cena and Lynch worked well as a pairing, but it didn’t take long for Lynch to turn on Cena and remove him from the ring as he was getting hot. Lynch would then proceed to win the match for her team after making Zelina submit to the Dis-Arm Her.
