In a battle between former Shield brothers, Dean Ambrose would become a three-time WWE Intercontinental Champion after he defeated Seth Rollins at WWE TLC. The emotionally-charged brawl would end with ‘The Lunatic Fringe’ countering a Curb-Stomp with the Dirty Deeds DDT.
For a number of weeks, Ambrose had got the number of Seth Rollins, attacking him from behind and getting the upper hand in various scuffles. Once again, Ambrose would get another victory against his former friend, this time securing the Intercontinental Championship.
