Drew McIntyre and Dolph Ziggler are no more as a team and with the help of Finn Balor, McIntyre suffers his first pinfall loss in 2018 on RAW.
McIntyre was awarded his own appreciation night courtesy of ‘General Manager-Elect’ Baron Corbin after he assisted him in ridding of all of his enemies. Corbin would also give McIntrye his own gold medal after putting Kurt Angle out of commission a few weeks ago. McIntyre would gloat on how he finally made a change in the RAW locker room culture all by himself, cueing a confused Dolph Ziggler to enter the ring. Ziggler was wondering why things are getting distant and McIntyre admitted that Ziggler has outlived his usefulness to him.

Drew would further insult Ziggler, claiming that Ziggler has been irrelevent for over a decade. Ziggler would attack him after the provoking gets too intense, forcing general manager Corbin to sanctioned a match between to the two former tag champions.

McIntyre would dominate the match early on until Finn Balor made his way to the ring, distracting Drew long enough to even out the match. While the two were fighting on the outside, Balor attacked Drew while the referee was distracted with Ziggler. McIntyre would beat the count, but Ziggler caught Drew with a superkick for the upset victory.
