WWE RAW Review
Tonight’s episode of WWE RAW featured a few interesting events as the build to TLC continues. To help you digest the episode, check out our five takeaways from the latest episode that showcased the red brand in our WWE RAW review for the December 3, 2018 episode.
Propaganda Works
The propaganda-style video piece that ran in the first hour of RAW was hilarious. Seeing Baron Corbin spun as a “for the people” General Manager is a hilarious way, especially when he’s been so underhanded in how he goes about things. It was a great spoof of political ads, and it made me more interested in seeing him keep his GM spot against Braun Strowman at TLC. His character work has been great, even if the writing hasn’t always done him any favors.
Lucha House Cheaters
What in the hell are these “Lucha House Party rules?” It’s one thing to give them a ridiculous advantage during tag team matches, but to allow them to have a three-against-one match against Scott Dawson is so ridiculous. Unless this is building to the Lucha House Party turning heel while The Revival turn face, this makes absolutely no sense at all.
Drew McIntyre Appreciation Day
I’m really glad that the Dolph Ziggler and Drew McIntyre storyline wasn’t just dropped. I thought it was odd when the pairing just stopped appearing together, so getting some closure on it was great. I’m not quite sure that Ziggler picking up a win makes a ton of sense, even with some help from Finn Bálor, but it has me interested in seeing what happens next for McIntyre.
Dean Ambrose, The Germaphobe
It appears @TheDeanAmbrose needs protection from the @WWEUniverse…and @WWERollins. #RAW pic.twitter.com/ngiHAppsg1

Dean Ambrose coming out in a gas mask and full escort in order to escape the stench and germs of the WWE Universe. I, for one, am a big fan of this new paranoid version of Ambrose, and it shows that even a “lunatic” cares about proper hygiene. Follow his lead, wrestling fans!
Of course, Seth Rollins eventually came out to ruin his promo. He also was able to quickly get rid of the security members that Ambrose employed. They proceeded to have quite the entertaining brawl in the crowd. It was a fun segment that got the feud back on track after a few rocky weeks, and hopefully they’ll continue to build towards what should be a heated match at TLC later this month.
Bye, Bye, Rhyno
???
@HeathSlaterOMRB gets the win to REMAIN on #RAW…
As for @Rhyno313, he's FIRED. pic.twitter.com/qHhBPmM3bq

Rhyno is one of the longest tenured members of the RAW roster, and to see him get fired in such a nothing match is such a bummer. Especially when the team of Slater & Rhyno won over the crowd when they were given a chance to shine on SmackDown Live. Hopefully this isn’t the actual end to his WWE run, but if it is then Rhyno should be remembered for being a versatile worker that has entertained crowds for decades. He really deserved better.
