When Baron Corbin was moved to RAW in the 2018 Superstar Shake-Up, fans didn’t really know what to think. Given that he had an average run on SmackDown Live at best (with constant start-stop pushes), many believed that he would have a midcard slot on the red brand. However, what many were surprised to learn was the fact that his role didn’t see him wrestle much, but rather become an authority figure.
Around two months after the shake-up, Corbin became Stephanie McMahon‘s personally appointed constable of RAW and his duty was to check on General Manager Kurt Angle to see if he was doing his job right. It was also around this time that he debuted a new look, shaving his head off and wearing a semi-formal suit.
It was a refreshing role for Corbin as it helped him develop his character, his biggest weakness as a wrestler. It turned out to be quite a fun storyline, with him being promoted to “Acting RAW GM” role on the night after SummerSlam.
However, he definitely hasn’t been the best General Manager, but that doesn’t mean all hope is lost. Here are five things Baron Corbin can do in the storyline to become a better GM.
