The Monday Night RAW Roman Reigns cancer announcement shocked the entire professional wrestling world tonight. While Reigns (real name Joe Anoa’i) is relinquishing his WWE Universal Championship and is out of his planned WWE Crown Jewel match against Brock Lesnar and Braun Strowman, he vowed to return after “kicking leukemia’s ass.” It was a highly emotional moment for everyone watching.
Professional wrestlers have gone to Twitter to thank Roman for his contributions to the business and wish him well on his battle with cancer by using the hashtag #ThankYouRoman.
