Jeff Hardy made his return to SmackDown Live, defeating Samoa Joe in a qualifying match for the WWE World Cup at Crown Jewel.
This is Hardy’s first appearance since Hell In A Cell, where he took some time off following a major bump at the end of the match. He defeated Joe tonight via referee stoppage, as Joe’s knee injury kept him from continuing.
Hardy will join Kurt Angle and John Cena as the list of names in the World Cup Tournament along with the winner of Randy Orton vs. The Big Show later tonight.
